My Style Diary - Florals and a Trilby

Heya :)

Summer's now arrived (hurray!!) so out come the floral dresses and my trusty old trilby hat. This particular dress has made quite a number of appearances on the blog because it's just so versatile and perfect for those "I've got 5 minutes to get ready - what do I wear?!!" moments. The hat also comes in very handy when my frizzy hair isn't co-operating!

I hope you've had a great weekend!

My Style Diary - Stripes

You really can't beat a stripe-y shirt dress when it's a hot day and you're having to rush out the door.

This particular one is from Marcs and was picked up in an end of summer sale last year.

When I first bought it, I envisioned pairing it with a tan belt and sandals, but seeing as I'm still on the hunt for the perfect tan sandals, we're going with these black ones for now.

It's the kind of dress that is perfect to throw on when you just want to be comfy. I would love to be able to wear it without a belt, but for me it's just a little too boxy and long, so I like to try and give the illusion of no belt by wearing just a thin one and pulling the top part of the dress out a bit to cover it

(this is not demonstrated very well in the above photo, but I'm sure you know what I mean).

My friend who has the same dress does wear it on it's own and it looks great on her - I'm just that little bit too short!

Anyway, enough rambling!

Hope you're having a great day!

My Style Diary - On a Boat

Heya :)

I hope you've had a great weekend. Mine was off to a good start with a fun little boat trip on the river, and then a rather yummy breakfast at

Forty Seven Kirwan Street

. It is one of my favourite breakfast places so I highly recommend giving it a try if you're in Perth. Take a look at my

Instagram

if you're interested in seeing the most impressive french toast I've ever had, as well as plenty more food related photos :)

On another note, I'm rather excited for it to be December tomorrow. November seems to have flown by, but I'm looking forward to Christmas...holidays... and the fact that Tom will finally shave off his silly moustache! While I'm not too fond of the mo, Movember is a great cause, so I've been tolerating it! If you're interested in donating, you can take a look at the Movember website

here

My Style Diary - White Lace and Blue Denim

Another white top and blue jeans outfit, but it's my favourite combination that I never get bored of... hopefully it's not too boring to include on the blog again!

This particular top was a gift that my Mum brought back for me from Melbourne. She knows she can never go wrong with a white top.... I'm pretty much guaranteed to love it and wear it to death (which I've already been doing with this one).

I'm also now dubbing these jeans "The Sunday Jeans" as they are basically what I live in on the weekend.

I hope you're having a fab Sunday!

Lots of Love
