Hi friends!
Just a quick outfit post today, but quite an exciting one as these photos were taken while we were in France, in the gorgeous city of Aix-en-Provence!
If you haven’t seen my video or read my travel guide about Aix, I’d recommend checking them out, because it really is a beautiful town and definitely one to add to your travel bucket-list.
Today’s post though is mostly about the outfit! It’s a simple one and not my most exciting, but when it comes to your travel wardrobe, basics are your best friend!
I love wearing neutral colours when I’m travelling - mainly white, navy and pink (yes, pink counts as a neutral for me!) because it makes it so easy to mix and match and create different outfit options and it also makes for better photos as your outfit will always work with your surroundings… I’m a blogger… I think about these things ok? ;)
I’d love to be the kinda blogger who has a perfect outfit to match every location, but I’m also somewhat of a “minimalist” (I use that term loosely) and like to pack lightly if possible, so my travel capsule wardrobe is definitely more on the simple and practical side.
This outfit is pretty much all Country Road - my favourite brand for basics - they just do them so well!
I love how easy and relaxed this white linen top is, paired with my fave navy jeans and a little pop of pink from the shoes, it was the perfect easy outfit for exploring the streets of Aix-en-Provence.
Speaking of shoes - these are the Adidas “Campus” shoes and they are super comfy! I’d highly recommend them! They come in a range colours (so you can find a pair that will work with your wardrobe) and are really soft and cushioned so they make for the perfect travel shoe, allowing you to walk and explore all day (and still look stylish!!)
The only downside is that they are suede so they do get a little dirty… but I can deal with that :p
I didn’t get a great shot of my bag, but it’s a black leather one from Trenery (Country Road’s sister brand) and I bought it specifically to take travelling. It’s great size, goes with everything and it zips and folds over to close, so fairly good when it comes to avoiding being pick-pocketed!
That was fun - chatting about clothes and sharing my outfit takes me back to when I first started blogging when the only thing I posted was “style diaries”!
I hope you’ve enjoyed it and have gotten a little inspiration :)
Leave me a comment, share the post or come say hi on Instagram - @laurennatalia 29 and tell me the next place on your travel bucket list!
Lots of Love
