Hello hello!
Today I have a fun outfit post to share, showing you 4 ways to style this gorgeous sage linen shirtdress from Saba*
If you follow me on Instagram (@laurennatalia.co) you’ll know that I’m a tad obsessed with this dress because it ticks all my boxes. Beautiful fabric and colour, floaty and comfy (perfect for fitting over this growing baby bump), AND it’s breastfeeding friendly so I’ll be able to wear it when bub arrives! It’s not a maternity dress though, so is perfect for non-pregnant people too!! It’s quickly become one of my core capsule wardrobe pieces that I’ve been wearing on repeat as it’s so versatile (and just a heads up- it’s currently on sale for 20% off at The Iconic so might be a good time to treat yourself!)
For any breastfeeding mummas out there, you’ll know it can sometimes be hard finding nice dresses to wear (that are also easy to wear with nursing bras!) so I was so pleased when I came across this one.
It comes in white too which I was very tempted by, but I figured it wouldn’t be the most practical colour for #mumlife so I went with this lovely sage green colour instead and I am loving it!
The darker colour means it’s also easier to style in the cooler months too and I’ve been loving wearing it with boots while waiting for the weather to warm up! (Not that you can’t wear a white dress with boots in winter, I just find that darker colours are sometimes a little easier!)
The style is quite long on me (I’m 5ft 2 and got a size XS) so I can’t really get away with wearing it without a belt, but if you’re taller and like a boxier look you could wear it un-belted too. The great thing about it is that the length and boxy-ness makes it super bump friendly and as there is no seam under the bust it’s easy to belt it and hitch it up at whatever point is most flattering for you :)
Anyway, lets get into a few ways I’ve styled it so far:
1) With Leggings, Tan Boots & Braided Belt
I love this look as it’s casual for everyday wear but also quite smart and put together. It’s an easy-to-throw on winter look and one I’ve been wearing on repeat :)
2) Dressed Up A Little With Heels, A Black Belt and Gold Details
I haven’t actually worn the dress styled this way (yet!) but I love how simply adding a pair of heels and a more dressy belt can transform it from casual to a little more fancy! I think a pair of sparkly statement earrings would look amazing and finish the look off. For me it has that perfect “cute and put together, but also relaxed and laid-back” kinda vibe, which is basically what I’m always going for! I like the “effortless look” and this dress makes achieving that super easy!
3) Casual and Cool With A Summer Hat and Sandals
For a casual summery look you can’t go past tan sandals, a braided belt and a straw hat. These accessories are my go-to’s in summer - comfy and effortless. The sandals are from Windsor Smith and I’ve had them for years - so comfy and really good quality!
4) Black Boots and Belt
Okay so this is basically the same version as look one but with black accessories rather than tan, but it does give quite a different vibe and feels more dressed up to me. I think the dress would also look amazing with biker boots, but I am at the point of pregnancy where I can’t really wear those as it’s too hard to lean over and do them up!! I might come back and update this post with a few more photos once I can get into my biker boots though, because I can just picture it and know it would be such a cool look!
So there you have it - 4 ways to style this very versatile shirtdress!

The key to getting the most from your wardrobe really is about being very intentional when you’re shopping and picking pieces that you’ll be able to wear to a variety of different occasions and style in a number of different ways. Ones that can be easily changed up with just a simple switching of accessories to take you from day to night are what to look out for!
Versatile accessories are also key here (I really should do a post on that soon, will add it to the list!) and make process of getting dressed and playing with your styling so much easier! Most of the pieces I’ve included here are many years old so no longer available, but I’ve linked some similar items (see above) where I can find them!
I’d love to know your favourite look! Leave a comment or come say hi over on instagram @laurennatalia.co :)
