Hi there blog friends!!
It’s been two weeks (and a day!) since our beautiful little bubby arrived. Her name is Ruby Allegra and she was clearly very keen to meet us as she made her appearance a few weeks early (at 37 weeks 5 days!)
I’ll share more details later on as I really want to write down her birth story (I never understood before why people wanted to share that, but having gone through it now I totally get it - it’s such a special, unique experience for everyone and I don’t want to forget the details so I’ll definitely be recording it!)
For now I thought I’d share a few photos that I took at the hospital. The family pics were taken when she was 4 days old (the day we left the hospital) and the others she was just 2 days!
She’s changed so much already since these were taken and I kind of wish I could just freeze time for a little while as it’s rushing by so quickly! Having a newborn is exhausting, and at the same time it is the best thing in the whole world! I feel so so grateful that I get to be her mumma!
Tom has also been such an amazing dad - he’s a complete natural and it’s so beautiful seeing how much he loves her!
That’s it for now but I’ll hopefully be back with some more posts soon when I find bit of time! For now I’m just soaking it all in, enjoying the snuggles and trying to be as present as possible!
