My Style Diary - Flashback

Heya :)

So  once again I have another set of photos that I'd completely forgotten about!

These were taken a couple of months ago when I was down in Margaret River, and with the long weekend coming up I was day dreaming about how nice it would be to get down there again (which then led to the discovery of these pics)

Unfortunately I don't think I'll be venturing down south for a little while, but for now we can just take a little trip back down memory lane, to the vineyard at The Duckstein Brewery where these photos were taken.

I hope you're having a great weekend!

My Style Diary - Blue and Burgundy

Hello :)

Just a simple, comfy outfit from a few weeks back. This top has gotten so much wear since I bought it and is still a firm favourite. It's probably a good thing we're heading into the cooler months though, because hopefully it will mean some slightly more interesting outfits! (Blog-wise I mean... I personally never get sick of good old shorts!)

My Style Diary - Easter Outfit (and my 100th Blog Post!)

Hello hello :)

So this is my 100th blog post! Quite an exciting milestone! Kind of crazy seeing as it really doesn't feel like I've been blogging for long at all!

This is what I wore for Easter this year, just a very simple outfit, but I thought the pastel colours were quite Easter appropriate :)

I found this top in Topshop when I was in Malaysia and it was love at first sight. The colours are so very "Lauren" and I've been really liking plaid recently.

Another recent purchase is this beautiful ring that I picked up at the

Boulevard Markets

a couple of weeks ago by a local designer called

Jonte

. I've always been drawn to statement rings and I just couldn't pass up this stunning piece.

Anyway, a short and sweet post today :)

Lots of Love

My Style Diary - Holding on to Summer

Hello Hello :)

So these photos were actually taken back in January, but given that the weather has reverted back to being warm and summery (Yay!), and this would still be an appropriate April outfit,

I thought I may as well share them.

This dress has gotten a lot of wear since I bought it a couple of years ago, transitioning easily from summer through to winter, and being suitable for either work or play. I love it when you find pieces that can be worn so many different ways, and this is one of those dresses that can go from being really sweet and girlie, to a little more edgy when paired with the right accessories.

There's not really much else to say about it, so I'll leave it at that for today.

Have a fab Friday night!

March in Pictures

I can't believe how quickly this year has been flying by, and March was no exception! I just wanted to do a little mash up of some of my Instagram photos from this month. I'm not sure anyone is really interested in these posts (seeing as they are usually just filled with food), but I like seeing my photos in a nice little collage... so I'm just going to roll with it. :)

My Aunty actually commented on one of my Instagram pics asking why all my photos are of food. My response was that "eating is one of my hobbies".

Tom and I love nothing more than heading out for a meal (particularly breakfast) on the weekend and trying out new places. Some of the places we've loved this month have been

Fortysevenkirwanstreet

,

The Naked Fig

, and

Koko Black

. We also went for a bit of a drive down to the Swan Valley and discovered the

Cottage Tea Rooms

which I mentioned previously in

this post

. There's just something so fun about discovering a new spot (or revisiting an old favourite) for a delicious breakfast or cozy afternoon tea.

Having said that though, I think this next month we're going to have to try and do a little more cooking and a little less eating out, because although it's fun, eating out so much is probably not so good health-wise (and definitely not great for the bank balance!) Ah well... :p

Anyway, I hope you've had a great March! Here's to an amazing April!

Lots of Love
