My Style Diary - White Lace and Blue Denim

Another white top and blue jeans outfit, but it's my favourite combination that I never get bored of... hopefully it's not too boring to include on the blog again!

This particular top was a gift that my Mum brought back for me from Melbourne. She knows she can never go wrong with a white top.... I'm pretty much guaranteed to love it and wear it to death (which I've already been doing with this one).

I'm also now dubbing these jeans "The Sunday Jeans" as they are basically what I live in on the weekend.

My Style Diary - The Feel Good Dress

In my opinion, every girl needs at least one "feel good" dress in their wardrobe. The dress that you can just slip into that makes you instantly feel pretty and put together. 

This is mine for a couple of reasons:

1) The beautiful floral fabric is just so colourful and bright that it's impossible not to feel happier when you're wearing it. I love my neutrals, but colour just has a way of lifting the mood and bringing a smile to my face.

2) The fit & flare cut is flattering and makes me feel very feminine and lady like. It's definitely one of the best styles for my body shape and I just love being able to twirl around in a nice full skirt.

3) The fact that it is super easy to just throw on and rush out the door. No strapless bras or hollywood tape required. (I'm sure you've noticed by now that I have a very "low maintenance" kind of style)

My Style Diary - By the River

It's a bit of a photo-heavy post today, but Tom was kind enough to snap some photos for me in one of my favourite places, and I just couldn't narrow it down any further!

The river is just so beautiful, even on this slightly overcast day.

Speaking of beautiful things, this Kookai top was an end of summer sale find and has been waiting patiently in my wardrobe for the weather to warm up.

It's the perfect piece to just throw on when you're in a rush, no need to worry about accessories as it already has this beautiful gold bar detail along the neckline. 

Simple, understated and easy.

My Style Diary - Sunny Sunday

Hello hello :)

I hope you've had a great weekend. Mine has been very busy, full of catch ups and ticking things off the to-do list.  As much as I love having a lazy Sunday, I also love the feeling you get when you've actually managed to accomplish a lot of things. It makes me feel like I've made good use of my weekend!

These photos were from last Sunday, a lovely sunny, 35 degree day. I get so excited when the weather starts to really warm up. For me, I feel like everything is easier in summer. It's bright when I wake up, getting dressed is a breeze, and there's just that "summer feeling" with the promise of holidays and Christmas on their way. I'm sure we'll all soon be complaining that it's too bloody hot, but for now, I'm loving the warmer days!

I picked up this dress from the newly opened Topshop, and it's perfect to just throw on for a hot summer's day. Super easy, cool and comfy, but also pretty and girly too.
