A Review of "Your Best Life" by Kelly Trach - An Online Course To Help You Master Your Mindset

Your Best Life Review4.jpg

Hi friends :)

I have something a little different to share with you today. Instead of talking style, travel or interiors, we're touching on another topic that I've been deep diving into over the past year:

The power of mindset

While I've always been a pretty positive person, like so many people I've often struggled with anxiety, worry and just that general feeling of never being quite good enough. While in some ways perfectionism can be a good thing, driving you to improve and and achieve your goals, that feeling of always questioning yourself is not very pleasant (or healthy)!

This year I've been really focusing on mastering my mindset and thoughts, noticing those negative patterns and working through them... and the results have been pretty incredible I have to say.

One of the things that has been the most helpful for me is an online course I signed up to called "Your Best Life" created by life coach and podcast host Kelly Trach. I mentioned it briefly in this post earlier in the year, and now, having completed it, can say that it has been truly life changing.
Not in the sense that I have made big dramatic changes to my life, but in the subtle way that comes when you shift your mindset.
The course has helped me to clear a lot of the limiting beliefs and negative self talk I used to deal with and from that I have been feeling so much more free, peaceful and confident and just generally way more content with where I am in life right now (and don't we all want a bit more of that!)

I wanted to share this course with you, and tell you a bit more about it because it's something that has been so transformational for me and that I think could help a lot of people! I've loved it so much that I'm actually now an affiliate for the course and I'm so happy to be able to share something that aligns so well with what my blog is all about - positivity and creating a life you love!

An Overview Of 'Your Best Life':

Your Best Life - Video Coaching Calls - by Kelly Trach.jpg

Your Best Life is an online, self-study course created by  one of my favourite podcasters - Kelly Trach.

Aside from being the host of  "The Kelly Trach Show", she's also an author and life coach and I really love her teaching style and what she's putting out into the world.

Her course is designed to be a step by step guide on how to build a life you love by starting with the inner work first and mastering your mindset, because, as Kelly says;

"if you get the inner parts right first, the outside falls into place"

This is something I totally agree with, and the course walks you through exactly how to actually do this.

It's split up into 8 modules and taught through a series of videos which you can work through at your own pace.

There is also an accompanying guidebook filled with questions, examples and journalling prompts to help you deep dive into the thought work and really get the most out of the course.

There's a big focus on uncovering limiting beliefs that are holding you back, strategies for how to release them (one of the most powerful modules for me - it walks you through actually letting go of the limiting belief) and practical steps on how to adopt new beliefs.

For any fellow people-pleasers out there, there is also a section all about boundary setting with advice and practical strategies on how to actually implement boundaries (which we all know can be one of the hardest things!!)

My Thoughts About 'Your Best Life'

I really enjoyed how well thought out and structured the course was, making it easy to digest and then actually implement into your everyday life (which is the most important thing really - implementation!!)

Kelly is great at clearly explaining her processes and the strategies she shares are practical so you can actually start applying them straight away.  There's a slightly spiritual touch to some of her teachings and she talks a lot about taking "a feelings based approach" and connecting with your intuition or "gut instincts" when it comes to making decisions
She also makes it really fun to watch, with relatable examples and funny anecdotes from her own life thrown in too.

I like how the videos for each of the modules are split up into shorter chunks so you can stop and start, go back to certain sections to recap and easily work through them at your own pace. You can even download the audio files if you're short on time and listen to them while driving/doing other things).  I watched a lot of the videos as I was cooking dinner or doing laundry etc -it definitely makes these tasks much more enjoyable!

The videos themselves are inspiring and I enjoy Kelly's  uplifting energy and teaching style. Just watching those alone was very helpful, but it's when I actually worked through the guidebook and did the thought provoking, sometimes uncomfortable journalling work, and put into practice what I learnt, that I really saw and felt the biggest results and shifts.

My Biggest Takeaways

Your Best Life Review3.jpg

As someone who tends to overthink things and generally stress and worry quite a bit,  this course has been such a blessing. I've been working on my mindset in other ways this year too, but I feel like going through and applying all the suggestions in Your Best Life has been the turning point.

I've been able to get to a place where I'm actually happy and even excited (say what?!!) to be heading into work on a Monday morning, as well as feeling more creatively fulfilled and confident in sharing my hobbies and interests.
I used to be so scared about people in my real life finding out about this blog of mine, but now I actually feel really proud of this happy little online space that I've been creating for the past 6 years!

The sections on boundary setting and dealing with negative energy from other people, was one of the most powerful parts for me, and I feel like that is something that would be so helpful for anyone with those people-pleasing tendencies or who is wanting to let go of worrying about what people might think of them!

Even though I've always been a pretty happy person, I've just been feeling so much more content and at peace with where I am in life right now, (as well as being excited for what's to come!) and I think it all comes down to that positive mindset shift and the fact I've cleared a lot of the deep seated limiting beliefs that I  was holding on to (and didn't even consciously realise before!)

It's also about having the strategies to deal with the negative thoughts when they do inevitably crop up, because life is never going to be all sunshine and rainbows!
It's a continual practice!

Final Thoughts and Recommendations

Your Best Life by Kelly Trach.jpg

As you can probably tell by my rather glowing review, I really loved this course. I'm so happy I took the plunge and I think it's been one of the best investments in myself that I've ever made.

I still go back to it, re-watching the videos and doing the journalling prompts when I feel I need a little pick me up, or if I'm not feeling quite "on my game".

It's a course that I would highly recommend for pretty much anyone, whether you're about to make some big life changes, or just feel you need to re-set your thoughts to be happier where you are right now. As long as you're ready and open to changing your mindset, you'll benefit from it.

If you're interested in finding out more, you can check it out here or feel free to leave me a comment at the bottom of this post or message me on Instagram @laurennatalia29. I'd love to chat about it with you! You can also check out Kelly's podcast - The Kelly Trach Show to get a taste of who she is and what she's like when teaching!

I'm so happy to be an affiliate for Your Best Life, because it's something I truly believe would be helpful to so many people, and, if you've been reading my blog for a while you'll know I don't partner up with people often - only for things I really love!

As always, I hope this post has been helpful, even if it's just given you some ideas to mull over or introduced you to Kelly's fab podcast!

If you've enjoyed the post or know someone else who might benefit from it - I'd love for you to share it!

Lots of Love
