Sharing a quick third trimester #bumpstyle outfit today!
I’ll be 36 weeks pregnant tomorrow (can’t believe there’s only about 4 weeks to go!) and I’ve definitely been reaching for the super comfy clothes lately! While I can still technically wear my maternity jeans (these Ripe maternity ones have been my faves), I’ve found that leggings are my go to these days and I’ve been wearing some variation of this outfit on repeat!
Leggings (these LuluLemon* ones are the best!) + a stretchy dress + long boots + a long cardigan/coat = a comfy but also cute outfit that still feels put together and doesn’t leave me feeling too frumpy and whale like!
This particular dress is a really old one from French Connection. I hadn’t worn it in years (in fact I found it in my wardrobe at my parents house… yes… I’m a bad “wanna-be-minimalist” and still have quite a number of things stored at my parents place - I’ve not yet gotten around to decluttering there!), but thought I’d try it on and to my surprise it fits and seems to work pretty well with the bump!
I do like to throw on a longer layer over top (just to hide any lumps and bumps!) but this outfit combo has helped me feel so much better when I want to feel nice but really just feel like wearing comfy trackies!
I also had my hair cut last week and while I love the shorter style, I did feel like it needed a little something to add a bit of a feminine touch, so I picked up this cute hairclip from Sportsgirl! It’s such a little detail but its a fun little touch and makes me smile and feel a little more girlie and cute!
So if you’re pregnant too and are needing a little outfit inspiration, I hope this can help! It’s amazing the difference getting dressed nicely and putting just a tiny bit more effort into how you look can make you feel!
