Just had to do a quick outfit post because… well… I think the photos speak for themselves!
Yes, I’m that mum who dresses her daughter in matching outfits :p
When I found these super cute baby overalls in Target a few months ago I just couldn’t pass them up because they match perfectly with my own trusty overalls that I love and wear all the time. I thought it would be ages before Ruby would actually fit into them, but here we are!
I can’t believe how fast time has flown by. She is 11 months old already and in a few short weeks she will be one! It has been the fasted year of my life!
It’s crazy to think back on this time last year. We were getting so excited to meet our little bub. We’d just moved into our old house, my friends and fam had thrown me such a lovely baby shower and I was just about to finish work and go on maternity leave.
I just had a bit of a freak out as I realised I’ll be heading back to work in about 8 weeks. I know that still seems long time away, (and I have been so fortunate to have had such a long time off already) but I’m already getting pretty anxious about it all - I just know it will be super emotional for me! There is a teeny tiny part of me that is a little bit excited to go back, but for the most part I’m just freaked. Working on flipping my mindset around though so hopefully when the time comes I’ll be more excited about it all! There will be so many good things about it I know, so just need to focus on those!
How cute is she with her little bow and overalls - she looks like a little girl and not a baby anymore!
Okay, now Ruby boo has woken up so I better leave it at that for today! If you have any tips to share to make returning to work after maternity leave a bit easier, I’m all ears!
