My Style Diary - Still feels like summer :)

Hello there,

I don't have all that much to say today. I've just been busy this morning getting a bunch of little jobs done, and then I went and had lunch with my mum. Agedashi tofu is so yummy!

 Anyway, I hope you're having a nice Friday :)

My Style Diary - Another floral dress :)

Hello!

This long weekend seems like it's gone so quickly, but I definitely managed to pack in a lot of socializing! On Saturday I caught up with two of my best friends from school, one of whom I haven't seen in about 9 months because she's studying in Melbourne. We met up for coffee at 11am...and didn't end up leaving the cafe until around 4:30! I love that even though she's been away for so long (and despite the fact that we aren't great at keeping in contact), it still just feels so normal when she comes back.

Later that night we went out to the city with some other friends, and also had a board game night on Sunday. I love getting to catch up and see my friends, but I was really glad that I had today to myself. I don't know why, but even if I'm having a really fun and relaxing time with other people, I feel kind of exhausted if I don't have at least some time on my own to recharge.

Since finishing uni and starting work, I think I've gotten a lot more used to having free time on my own. While I'm enjoying it, I kind of feel weird that I'm not working towards something anymore, I kind of feel like I'm floating. In school I was always ridiculously busy with studying, orchestra, choir, ballet, cello practice... Then at uni, the workload kind of took over, and I stopped most of those other activities I used to love (I studied dentistry and the course was crazy). So now, I get up and go to work, and then come home and go..."Oh... what am I going to do seeing as I don't have to study?". While I haven't had difficulty finding things to occupy myself, I kind of feel like I need to be doing something more productive and useful, I just need to decide what.

Anyway...enough of my blabbing... onto what I'm wearing. T

his dress was a birthday present from my parents last year. I particularly love the cut out at the back, although it does make it a little harder to wear.

What I'm Wearing

Dress - Tigerlily

Shoes - Betts

Cardigan - Pull and Bear

Bracelets - Pandora and a birthday gift

I hope you've had a good day. I'm off to sleep now.

Tomorrow I have an "Induction day" for my job that I've actually already been working at for 2 months... so that should be interesting!

My Style Diary - White Lace for Easter

Good morning! Happy Easter!

I've just got time for a very quick post today. I managed to take some quick snaps after getting back from church, and we're just about to leave to go to my Nonno and Nonna's house for  Easter lunch. As I've already mentioned, I have a weakness for white dresses, and this one is no exception! Anyway, I hope you're having a great day!

My Style Diary - Autumn Florals

Hello!

Over the past few days it's actually started to feel a little  more like autumn. I'm usually a total summer girl but for once I'm quite looking forward to the cooler weather. It poured down the other night and it was so nice to be snuggled up in bed listening to the rain...although the fact that it was still raining in the morning made getting up to go to work that much harder!

This is what I wore last night hanging out with my boyfriend. We were considering going to see a movie but in the end we just ended up chilling out and watching Gilmore Girls. It's my favourite TV show (and Tom actually really likes it too), so I really couldn't ask for a more perfect and relaxing night.

These floral jeans remind me of a pair I had when I was about 9. Now that I think about it, that was probably when I first became interested in clothes. I distinctly remember that I used to wear my cream rose printed jeans with a cute little navy blue beret, and it was my favourite outfit! I was so excited when I found this pair in dotti!

My Style Diary - Denim and Lace

Today has just been a very chilled out day so far. All my friends are either working or studying it seems so I'm just having to entertain myself! It's still very weird that I'm now the one with free time! Anyway, this top is from Asos and I love the lace detail on it. It's such a comfortable, simple shirt but the lace adds a nice delicate touch. My jeans are from Calvin Klein and are so so comfortable! Seriously the most comfortable jeans I've ever worn. The down side of that is that they do stretch out quite a bit, but I'm hoping they'll spring back to their original shape once they've been washed. Anyway, I'm off to have some lunch and read "Making money made simple" which is a book my Dad bought for me... probably in the hopes that it will encourage me to save more! So far it seems to be pretty interesting :). I hope you're having a great Sunday!
