I've always been someone who loves the "fresh start" a New Year brings, and although I believe we can make changes and set intentions anytime, there's definitely something very motivating about the first of January.
Whether you're someone who likes to set resolutions or not, I think it's always beneficial to look back on the year, celebrate the achievements and learn from the lows (that we all have no matter how fabulous life may look on social media).
Have you seen that meme that's floating around about "The Two Kinds of People at Christmas"? Well I'm very firmly in the Elf category - I absolutely love this time of year - the decorations, the weather (I'm a summer lover and despite the magic of a white Christmas, hot summery days just scream Christmas to me - what can I say, I'm an Aussie!), and the fact that people just all round seem nicer and kinder this time of year!
For some reason though I haven't been feeling particularly Christmassy yet (and it's already Christmas Eve!) so I thought I'd share a few of our Christmas traditions - some old, some new - in the hopes that it will leave me feeling a little more festive and give you some inspiration too!

Today I'm sharing a little Esperance Travel Guide - What to do, where to stay and of course my food and drink recommendations! Tom and I spent 3 days in Esperance for our honeymoon (or "mini-moon" as we're calling it - we have plans for a bigger trip next year!) and had such a fab time. Being a 7.5 hour drive from Perth, it was somewhere that neither of us had been before and it really was lovely to explore a little more of Western Australia, this amazing state we get to call home.

So the title of this post says it all... on the 11th November, Tom and I got married!!
It really was the most amazingly magical day that was more than I'd even imagined it could be. On our invitations we'd asked guests to "join us for a celebration of love, laughter, friendship and family" and it truly was an incredible celebration of all those wonderful things!
