Hello Hello!

Today I wanted to share some photos of our apartment and have a little chat about how we've been gradually turning this "house" into a home. We've been here for over three years now (how crazy is that?!) and have been loving the process of slowly decorating and putting our own stamp on the place.

The space where you live can have such a huge impact on how you feel and I am so appreciative every single day to have this space to call our own. It's our little sanctuary where we can completely relax and recharge no matter what has been going on in the world outside and somewhere that I can have fun styling and creating little areas of prettiness!

It's been a while since I've posted anything here and I can't believe we're already nearing the end of April! I know I say it all the time but this year is seriously flying by!

Speaking of flying, as I'm writing this Tom and I are actually on a plane to Italy! We're so excited to be heading off on our belated honeymoon (yes we're still calling this trip our honeymoon... gotta milk it while we can!) and this is going to be our biggest adventure yet - we're away for almost 7 weeks!

Before I start documenting our travels, I thought first I'd share some of the things I've been getting up to and enjoying in my day to day life, as a kind of bridge between weddings and travels, because, although sometimes social media may make it seem that way, life's not always about jumping from one crazy exciting thing to the next.

Life happens in the in-between moments and I want to be someone who can appreciate simple day to day life and make those times beautiful and enjoyable too!

The Easiest Bircher Muesli Recipe

Today I'm sharing the recipe for my current favourite breakfast - a delicious and super simple Bircher muesli!

I've always been a fan of bircher muesli but had never actually tried making it myself until last month when I was flicking through Lola's Berry's book - Beauty Food (a lovely Christmas present from my parents-in-law!)
I was inspired and decided to give it a go, with a few adaptations to simplify it (using ingredients I already had), and although my version is much more streamlined, it is still very yummy!
