My Style Diary - The Floral Jumpsuit

Wearing floral anything generally makes me feel very happy, but this jumpsuit is a particularly special piece because I actually wore it to my Hen Party and it has such beautiful memories associated with it!

There are so many elements about this jumpsuit that I love - the soft colours, the floral print, the loose flowy pants and the way it crosses over at the back. I love how comfy it is and that the linen fabric means it can also be dressed down and worn more casually (I can just picture it paired with sandals and a denim jacket thrown over the top!)

Magical is my favourite word to describe our wedding day.

It really was such an indescribably happy, beautiful, fun and laughter-filled day and I'm so excited to finally be sharing the photos with you!

These are, of course, mostly taken by our amazing photographer Katie Grant (she's a film photographer and I love how dreamy and timeless her photography style is) and I've also sprinkled in a few shots from our guests towards the end as well!

I had such a great time planning our wedding and feel like I have so much to share from the experience, so I'll still be doing a few more wedding posts after this one! If you happen to be engaged then hopefully you'll find some helpful advice and inspiration! I kinda just want to have a record for my own memories too as it was such a special, happy time in our lives!

The January Happy List - New Habits, Discoveries and Little Joys

Hello Hello!

If you follow me on Instagram, you'll know that I love to take note of the little things. Those "flashes of delight" in the everyday that, although small, when noticed and appreciated can truly make such a huge difference to one's overall happiness. Anything from seeing beautiful morning light filtering in through the kitchen window, to a stranger smiling and showing a little kindness, I do my best to look out for these "everyday magic moments" and be grateful for them. When you train your brain to actively look for the good things, it's amazing the change that can occur and how much more exciting life can feel!

So, with that being said, I thought I'd start a monthly "Happiness List" to share the little things that have made me smile, new habits I've been implementing and any fun new discoveries I've made, in the hopes that it can brighten your day and inspire you too!

Super simple tuna, parsley and olive salad (that even tuna haters will love!)

As many others do when a new year begins, I've set myself a health related "resolution" or "intention" and this year it's all about promoting wellness and energy through mindful eating
(+ movement!)

I'm not someone who is particularly enthusiastic about spending time in the kitchen, but I'm slowly adding simple and healthy recipes to my repertoire and have actually been really enjoying the process!

I thought that I would share some of these "cooking adventures" on the blog as I go along, in the hopes that it will inspire you too! ... and if I can make them anyone can - trust me!

First up is this yummy (and simple) tuna, parsley and olive salad. Even if you're not a fan of tuna (Tom doesn't usually eat it but really enjoyed this meal!) I'd recommend giving this a go as the other ingredients mean it doesn't taste "tuna-y" at all!

Esperance Chalet Village - A Rave Review

As I mentioned in my Esperance Travel Guide, I very much enjoyed staying at Esperance Chalet Village and wanted to give this place a full post to itself because I couldn't recommend it more highly. Set on a beautiful property, just out of town, there are a number of chalets and cabins of varying sizes that can accommodate from 2 to 5 guests. Quiet, private and serene but also only a short drive to town and a great base to explore from.
