Hello!
Today I'm sharing some very special photos that I've been meaning to post for quite some time! Tom and I have been engaged since December 2015 (time really has been flying, I can't believe it's been that long!) and we're getting married in under four months now! (I'm so excited for the day to be here as it feels like it's been a long time coming, but at the same time there's a lot to do still!)
I thought it was about time I shared our engagement photos with you all. They turned out so beautifully and I couldn't be happier with them! Our photographer Katie Grant is seriously talented, and made us feel so comfortable and at ease. I thought the shoot might feel a little awkward, but we had such a fun time with it, and they will be such great memories to look back on.
These photos were taken last November in a field near Guilford, and I just love the gorgeous golden light that Katie was able to capture. She really understood the feel of the photos we wanted - or should I say I wanted... Tom wasn't really too fussed ;) - and I feel so lucky to have her as our photographer for our wedding! She's actually a film photographer, and what drew me to her was the beautiful light & bright and incredibly timeless look of her photographs. I'd highly recommend you check out her Instagram - it's filled with amazing photos in incredible locations that make you just want to hop on a plane to somewhere - they give me serious wanderlust!
There were so many great photos to choose from I couldn't narrow it down any more so this is a pretty lengthy post I'm afraid! I'm thinking of also writing a post on my tips for getting great engagement photos (the main one being find a great photographer, but there were a few other things to think about too! haha) so let me know if you'd be interested in that!
