Good morning!
Today I’m sharing this outfit that features a few of my favourite pieces I’ve been wearing on constant rotation.
I admit my outfits have all followed a rather similar formula lately:
Jeans + Jumper + Jacket + Scarf + A pair of tall boots to dress it up a little.
It seems to be working in terms of pregnancy styling though (and helping me to feel nice and put together rather than frumpy!) so I’m sticking with it!!
Burgundy is a colour I’ve always loved and I’ve been getting so much use out of this jumper I picked up from Sportsgirl earlier in the year! It’s a lovely soft, cozy knit to throw on when it’s cold and you just want to be comfy, but it’s also one of those colours that can be easily dressed up when it needs to be!
For this occasion we were going out for dinner with friends, so I paired it with black jeans, tall boots and a gold necklace from YCL Jewels. I think the gold complements the burgundy so well and really pops against it!
Throwing on my colourful scarf (also a Sportsgirl find) added another layer of coziness and makes the outfit a little more fun and playful!
Three words I always refer to when it comes to how I like to dress are;
Classic, Effortless, Playful
This outfit ticks all three of these boxes for me :)
Having a few “guiding words” when it comes to your style can make shopping and curating a wardrobe that is completely “you” so much easier, so it’s something I’d definitely recommend considering if you’re wanting to feel pulled together without having to think about it on a day-to-day basis!
I never really “plan outfits” to wear, it’s always very much a quick process of throwing a few pieces together. Because my capsule wardrobe is now filled with staple pieces that can all mix and match easily, it means that putting together outfits is super simple!

This is one of those outfits that can take you almost anywhere - casual enough for the day time but also pulled together and dressy enough for going out at night.
Having a few simple “style formulas” is something that has been super helpful when it comes to dressing the bump! I’m getting to a stage now (exactly 32 week today!) where I’m beginning to feel really big and heavy, so having a few go-to outfit combinations has been so helpful in stopping the “Omg nothing fits, I have nothing to wear!” melt downs that I’ve heard a lot of pregnant ladies have!!
So that’s it from me today! This is actually a very “real-time” last minute blog post as we just moved house yesterday and things have been a bit crazy!
I woke up this morning and realised I didn’t have a post ready for this week, so I’m sitting here in bed in our new bedroom quickly whipping this up! Hopefully you’ve enjoyed the post and found it helpful despite it being rather last minute!
I’m excited to share lots more about our move and the new house soon, but in the meantime you can always follow my on Instagram for the latest updates - @laurennatalia.co :)
Lots of Love
