Hello hello and happy Saturday!

Sharing this summery outfit today which is kind of funny because as I’m sitting typing this it’s actually pouring with rain and we seem to have reverted back to winter here in Perth!

Ah well - the warm weather will be with us soon enough.

I’m very much looking forward to getting a chance to wear my summer dresses soon as I didn’t really get a chance to last year (dresses sadly aren’t very breastfeeding friendly!)

Here’s one of my favourites that you will recognise if you’ve been a long time blog reader. It’s my super bright “feel good” dress that I’ve had for years and that is perfect to throw on whenever I need a pep up! Something small to lift my spirits when things are feeling overwhelming or just too much - it’s hard to feel bad when you’re wearing such a pretty, fun dress (and the gorgeous summery weather helps too)

On this particular day it was super hot and we were going for a walk so I threw on this pink linen shirt and my straw hat for a little sun protection, and I really like how it all looks together! Just goes to show, no matter how old a piece is you can always find fun new ways to style it that will make it feel fresh and new!

Timeless & Versatile Spring/Summer Clothing Haul - Updating My Capsule Wardrobe

Hello Hello!

Long time no blogging, but I’m back today with a spring/summer fashion haul video, sharing some of the basic, staple pieces that I've recently purchased to update my capsule wardrobe!

We are well into summer in Australia now so I'm a little late posting this (I actually filmed it about 2 months ago!) but better late than never right?!

These are all really versatile clothing items that can be dressed up and down and have become core pieces in my wardrobe that I’ve been wearing on repeat. As you know, I'm all about curating a versatile, intentional closet and being more mindful when it comes to my purchases, so rather than encouraging you to just go out and buy a bunch of things that I'm showing, hopefully this small haul can inspire and help you to be a bit more thoughtful about your shopping and really consider how the new items will work with your existing wardrobe.

I'm sharing some pieces from Zara, Sportsgirl, Kmart and Dotti today and for once they are current items that are still available so I’ve been able to link them below if you’d like to check them out yourself!

Anyway, I hope you enjoy seeing some of the beautiful new pieces I've picked up. Even if you're not in the market for new clothes hopefully this will give you some ideas on how you can style the pieces you already own!

Hello!!

Wow, it’s been a while since my last post! Life has been a bit of a whirlwind again with getting back to work (after just over a year of maternity leave!) and with all the changes I really just needed to focus on getting through the days, so blogging has unfortunately taken a back seat!

I’ll probably write a post at some stage sharing my tips for easing back into work after a baby (let me know if that would be something you’re interested in), because it can be such a big (and emotional) step - it was for me at least - but for today, I thought I’d share a Style Diary post! Figured I would ease back into blogging with something light and fun - which is just how this outfit made me feel!

Today I have another “Mama and Mini” Style Diary to share with you - not matching this time but definitely a co-ordinated one!

This adorable little pinafore was one of the first pieces I bought for Ruby and she finally fits into it! To be honest, she’s probably fit it for a while, but I’ve learnt since having a baby that the clothes that get the most wear tend to be the super comfy ones - trackies, leggings etc, so her special outfits don’t actually get a whole lot of use!
