*Prepare for a rather rambling personal post, if that’s not your thing click away :) - it gets more upbeat towards the end though I promise!*

So it’s around 4am as I’m sitting here on the couch typing this. I’m munching on a bowl of Just Right cereal as I’ve been awake for the past few hours coughing and decided I just needed to get up, have something to eat and distract myself for a little while.

I was just going to journal, but I figured I may as well type out a little something for the blog, even if it just turns out to be a little rambling update (you know - old school blogging - spur of the moment, real thoughts and feelings etc instead of the super polished content that people generally put out today.)

The Moving Vlog

We’ve been in our new place for about 4 weeks now and I’ve finally gotten around to editing and uploading the moving vlog! It’s a bit of a mish-mash of lots of little clips but lovely to have the memories all in one place!

We’re very sentimental so were a little sad to be moving out of our beautiful first apartment (so many memories!) but of course we are very happy and excited to be in our new house!!

There’s still a bit to sort out before the baby arrives but it’s slowly coming together!

My Go-To Third Trimester Outfit Combo

Sharing a quick third trimester #bumpstyle outfit today!

I’ll be 36 weeks pregnant tomorrow (can’t believe there’s only about 4 weeks to go!) and I’ve definitely been reaching for the super comfy clothes lately! While I can still technically wear my maternity jeans (these Ripe maternity ones have been my faves), I’ve found that leggings are my go to these days and I’ve been wearing some variation of this outfit on repeat!

This coming week (starting tomorrow August 5th) I’m going to be joining in the #ColorMyCloset challenge on Instagram, created by @ColoringOurClosets @ChloandClothes.

It’s a celebration of colour, creativity and community and the idea is to inspire you to experiment and play a little with your wardrobe - and mostly to have fun!!

Everyday there will be a colour prompt to follow, and although I won’t be sharing “live” outfits (as I’ll be at work and my work wardrobe is a bit limited currently due to my rather large baby bump!) I thought it would still be fun to dig through the many outfit pics I have on my phone and share some of my favourite colourful combinations!

I thought I’d dig through the archives of the blog and round up a few of my old posts and videos about Colourful Capsule Wardrobes, in the hopes that they can inspire and help you to add a little more fun and colour to your wardrobe if you want to!
