Hello hello!

It’s Day 2 of the #StayHomeReady challenge (created by @iamjoellen) that I’m participating in over on Instagram (see yesterday’s post for more info about it) and today I thought I’d pull on my beloved overalls.

I’m probably sounding like a broken record by now when it comes to talking about my love of overalls, but they really are such a fun and super easy way to make you feel a bit more stylish and like you’ve put a bit of effort in (when you really haven’t). I think it’s to do with the fact that they’re a bit quirky and not something that you see everyone wearing, so they feel quite unique and “fashion-y”.

I decided this morning that I’d take part in an Instagram style challenge #stayhomeready by @iamjoellen and figured I would play along on the blog too so I could share a few more of the pics, as well as have it documented here (Instagram is fun but my true love is blogging!)

It’s probably the easiest style challenge out there as the idea is simply to motivate people to still make the effort to get dressed out of their PJ’s or trackies and into normal clothes (and do their makeup if that’s your thing) so that, despite these unusual times when a lot of us are not leaving the house, we can still feel and look good!

I hope everyones having a happy Easter weekend at home!

It’s crazy to think how much has changed compared to this time last year - for us mostly the fact that we have another little person as part of our family, but also of course the pandemic and social distancing situation means we’re not able to celebrate as we usually would!

I was planning on sharing a longer post today about some of the things I’ve been doing to stay positive during these… interesting… times, but this week kind of got away from me, so instead we have another style diary post!
